DREEBIT creates tailored ion beam facilities mostly, but not exclusively, combined with one of the developed EBIS/EBIT or ECR ion sources. The listed items are our standard ion irradiation facilities including hardware and software for remote control as well as measurement evaluation.
An Ultra-Compact Version of DREEBIT's Standard Ion Irradiation Facility
The IIF-S is the most compact one of DREEBIT's standard ion irradiation facilities. It can be equipped with Dresden EBIS/T ion sources providing various ion types from low-charged ions or molecule fragments up to highly charged ions.

The IIF-L is an ion irradiation facility for experiments with various ion types from low-charged ions or molecule fragments up to highly charged ions. The beamline features a high voltage platform as well as a deceleration lens system. Thus, targets can be irradiated with ion energies from ~100 eV·q up to 40 keV·q, q being the ion charge state.
