A reserve electron gun for an effectively replacement of defect cathodes.
A reserve electron gun with a new cathode can fully be mounted on the respective ion source. The defect cathode can get repaired by DREEBIT GmbH.
Depending on the respective application the reserve electron gun can be mounted with cathodes with a diameter of 0.5, 1 or. 1.5mm.
Recommended for DRESDEN EBIS, EBIS – A:
diameter of cathodes: 0.5, 1 or 1.5mm
Additionally, it is recommended to contact the manufacturer for the function specific choice of the cathode.
